Elegant and uncomplicated, sophisticated yet simple...

The 'leina broughton' woman is stylish, sassy and sophisticated. Her style is classic with a contemporary edge. This is a label for women who want to feel free from the confines of suits and fad inspired fashion.

In a market full of disposable fashion, high maintenance and fly by night trends, leina broughton is all about styles that are easy to wear and can be swiftly adapted to any occasion. Providing the flexibility to go from the daily grind to corporate cocktails or dinner out with friends at a moment's notice...

The leina broughton style is developed using classic fabrication and design. Taking traditional jerseys and combining them in ways which create unique, striking yet timeless pieces, with special attention paid to the fit, flexibility and finish of each garment.

Each style is carefully constructed and developed to create a garment that will become an absolute favourite in every woman's wardrobe.

leina broughton is proudly 100% Australian designed and produced.

New Zealand born designer, Leina Broughton, brings over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry to her classic yet fresh take on clothing design.

After a successful career in production management roles, developing her unique blend of skills in jersey, streetwear, bridal and eveningwear, Leina established her own pattern and technical consultancy; Pattern Central. Over the past five years she has developed this in a respected business, working with some of Australia's leading designers including Nicola Finetti, Tim O'Connor, Kate Hurst, Lil' Mama and Honey Hartley.

Since the release of Leina's first collection early in 2006, the leina broughton brand has grown at an impressive rate and is becoming a coveted label for chic, high end boutiques across Australia, with a growing reputation for style that is both classic and contemporary with an impressive quality finish.

Leina Broughton is also the founder of Clothing can make a Difference (ccmad) which is a volunteer group providing much needed professional apparel for women who have been victims of domestic violence across Sydney. The collection and donation of professional apparel assists these women in their journey to find work and rebuild their lives. The idea evolved from Leina watching her clients end of season sales and hoping they may want to donate some of those items to those in need.

Since starting in December 2005, CCMAD has donated over 20,000 items to local Women's Shelters in the Sydney area. With each collection the numbers and idea grows. For more info see www.ccmad.com.au
